Privacy Policy — OfertaAL

OfertaAL ("the App") is a grocery deals aggregator for Albania. This Privacy Policy describes what data the App collects, why, and how it is used. We do not sell, share for advertising, or otherwise monetize your data.

1. Who we are

The App is developed and operated by Andrei Yaroshkin (AY Studio), an individual developer (Apple Developer Team U3C6UT8FZL). For privacy questions or data deletion requests, contact contact@aystudio.dev.

2. Data we collect

The App collects three categories of data, all linked to your in-app family account:

2.1 User ID (family identifier)

When you first open the App, it joins or creates a "family" account identified by an opaque ID generated on our server. This family_id associates your device with your family's shared state so it persists across reinstalls and additional family devices using the same invite code.

2.2 Device ID (push token + device identifier)

To deliver notifications when new leaflets are published in stores you follow, the App registers your device's Apple Push Notification (APNs) token with our server, along with a server-generated device_id. The push token is opaque to us — it is issued by Apple and used solely to route notifications.

2.3 Other User Content (watchlist, shopping list, leaflet subscriptions)

When you mark a product to track, add an item to your shopping list, or subscribe to a store's leaflet, the App stores that choice on our server keyed by your family_id, so it can remind you and sync across your family's devices.

3. What we DO NOT collect

  • Your name, email, phone, or any other contact info
  • Your location (we use the store name you pick, not GPS)
  • Your browsing or search history outside the App
  • Photos, contacts, microphone, camera, or any permission beyond Push Notifications
  • Analytics about how you tap, scroll, or use screens
  • Diagnostics or crash reports (no third-party analytics or crash SDKs)
  • Any data from third parties

4. Purpose of data collection

Every piece of data is used for one purpose only: App Functionality — maintaining your session across reinstalls, delivering leaflet notifications, and reminding you about products you chose to track. We do NOT use data for advertising, analytics, profiling, personalization, marketing, or cross-app tracking.

5. Data sharing with third parties

We do not share, sell, rent, or transfer your data to any third party, with one mandatory exception: push notifications are delivered through Apple's Push Notification service (APNs), so their contents traverse Apple's infrastructure. We use no data brokers, ad networks, or analytics services.

6. Data retention and deletion

We retain your family_id, device_id, push token, watchlist, shopping list, and leaflet subscriptions for as long as you keep the App installed.

You can delete all of your data at any time from within the App: open Settings → Delete my data. This immediately and permanently erases your family account and everything tied to it — devices and push tokens, watchlist, shopping list, leaflet subscriptions, and any pending notifications — from our servers. No email, sign-in, or approval is required.

Alternatively, email contact@aystudio.dev with the family invite code you used, and we will delete the matching records within 30 days.

7. Children's privacy

The App is intended for general audiences. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. To request removal, email us at the address above.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the App evolves. The "Last updated" date reflects the most recent revision; material changes are surfaced in the App on next launch.
